Established in 2019, the Hub brings together the expertise and strategic objectives of Andorra Business and Andorra Research+Innovation, specifically focused on the country’s sports industry – establishing as core sport areas winter, mountain, and cycling.
It seeks to position Andorra’s sports innovation, business, and tourism industries on the global stage. This has been implemented through content, participation at international fairs and congresses, conversation groups and events, startup and scale-up challenges, and technical reports, among many other activities.

Key actor
The country’s first privatized sports cluster, created with the support of Actua (now Andorra Business) to enhance the competitiveness of Andorra’s sports sector. Its first three projects focus on: understanding the new sports consumer to adapt business offerings, positioning Andorra as a sports destination through collaboration with hotels and companies, and developing new products and activities to reduce seasonality and boost year-round business. Our Impact
Since 2019, the Andorra Sports Innovation hub (ASIH) has contributed to global sports innovation through its activities, events, and projects. Over 100.000 impressions in its content from sports industry professionals evidence the interest of the industry in the Hub.
The ASIH has successfully mentored several sports startups in their annual Startup and Scale-up challenges.
